Anne and Judith of The Famliy Planning Centre

Anne & Judith

Anne previously worked for Prudential for 22 years with a 10 year gap in between to raise her daughters. She left Prudential in 2001 and joined the FPC in 2004 as the company began to grow. She now works alongside four of the advisers she had previously worked with at Prudential.
Her role there was similar to the administration role she fulfils today at the FPC and she retains a whole hearted commitment to ensuring the company can provide the best possible service for its clients.

Judith spent 31 years working for a local High Street Bank, with 10 years as Operations Manager of the Banks Processing Centre, so you could say administration and processing were in her DNA.
After retiring from banking she then spent 7 years working in a wedding wear shop, dressing ladies for a variety of special occasions. As shoes and clothes were a hobby of Judith’s, the FPC count themselves lucky to have been able to prise her away to join them in 2012. Judith now enjoys being able to use her previous banking and administration skills in her current role, where she has special responsibilities for the company’s back office computer systems.

The advisers say… “Having Anne and Judith behind the scenes is a real bonus for the company. They work really well as a team and nothing is too much trouble for them, when helping us and our clients. They are a major part of the success of the FPC, and are often the first port of call for our clients. There is no chance that either of them will be allowed to retire within the next 20 years!”

I contacted the Financial Planning Centre in 2014 for pension planning and advice, and I would strongly recommend them. Their representative, Chris Wickham, explained everything fully and clearly and in terms I could understand, and was always available to answer any questions. He dealt with everything quickly and efficiently, and I am absolutely delighted with the outcome.

The FPC has been involved in our retirement and pension planning as well as many years offering advice whilst being in employment. Their advice has always been tailored to our specific requirements and circumstances. Chris Wickham has offered professional assistance and guidance for more than 20 years and more recently has assisted in our joint future arrangements for retirement investments. The service has always been effective and efficient and the details have been offered to us in a way that is easy to understand for making decisions. We would be confident in saying that FPC has covered our requirements in the best possible way and in a way with which we have full confidence.

We have been with the Financial Planning Centre (FPC) since June 2014 our contact there being Chris Wickham. We have had great service from Chris always remaining in good contact keeping us up to date with our investments through FPC. We feel confident and happy about all aspects of dealings with FPC, a good polite well run service.

Chris & Justine (Gomersal)

My adviser Chris is someone you can trust and I really do. He has excellent judgement and taste - hotels, fine wines, craft ales and above all cakes. He can be relied upon to bring something new to every meeting we have - and it is usually in what he calls a ‘wrapper’. He goes to great lengths to understand my needs and preferences and never recommends a product which does not feel is good for me. All the cakes he brings are fresh - nothing from Mr. Kipling! Where beers are concerned he searches the market for that new brew which has a twist but is never stronger than I can handle!. He encourages me to think long term in the wines he recommends and on his advice I have bought several vintages for my cellar which have improved with keeping. The best feature of the service Chris provides are his tasting notes. After every meeting he writes up the products he has recommended, so that I have a really good record and can go back and remind myself of the best ones again and again. From this description you might think that my Financial Adviser is a Fat Cat. Not a bit of it - when he's not eating and drinking, he is out walking the hills or playing a vigorous game of badminton. He is a great guy and a role model for me." Cheers, Chris
